Wisdom teeth???

A couple of years ago they wanted to pull my top ones out when they were still in my gums but I said "no" because I thought it was gonna hurt really bad, I had gotten my bottom ones done because they already came out of the gum and I bled so bad afterwards, but now its been a few years and they have grown in alot, has anyone waited a long time to get your wisdom teeth pulled, is that bad I am scared? Any answers would be helpfull.

Wisdom teeth???
my dear you had bad experiment when extracted the lower wisdom teeth but let me assure you it is much easier when it comes to upper teeth because of the different nature of surrounding bone

and now since they are fully erupted it is extra advantage facilitates their extraction making it very easy
Reply:you get free drugs lady! they give you novacaine and vikadin. Your passed out the entire time they operate and it doesen't even hurt when you wake up.
Reply:The longer you wait, the worse it gets because teeth are growing. Go ahead and get it over with. You already had some out so you know how it's going to hurt. It'll be manageable with pain pills.
Reply:If they have become impacted from you waiting so long to get them pulled then the after effects of the surgery will be worse... more pain and slightly longer recovery.. however, like was said before you do get plenty of pain medication so you should be fine...
Reply:it dont matter when u get them pulled as long as u get them pulled soon enough to where they dont rot or infect perfectly good teeth. leaving them in to long if something is wrong with the tooth can build or start infection. ppl seem to think that because its a wisdom tooth then it has to be pulled....... WRONG!!!! i have had my wisdom teeth for 3 yrs and they are just fine. only pull them if u have pain or infection dont just go snatchin teeth cause there wisdom teeth.
Reply:I got all of them out when i was 15 i think and it was bad but necessary!

You shouldn't say no when they tell you to get them out, cuz it could happen that they grow into a nerve and then you don't have the pleasure to taste what you eat anymore.

I was not soooo much pain and everything went well.

You shouldn't be scared, today it's really not the big of a deal anymore!

Good luck!
Reply:I had all 4 of mine pulled at once when I was 24. The pain and recovery from the 20+ shots of novocain more than made up for the years of agony I had to endure. 1 was impacted and the other 3 were causing gum infections. The only regret was that I didnt catch the impaction soon enough 'cause it made my teeth crowd against each other.10 years later I had to have a 1st molar pulled because of this crowding. Now I'm free of pain and sesitivity with good space ,between my teeth, for good, thorough flossing and brushing. I'm 44 now with good gum health and easier cleanings.
