Wisdom teeth?

My bottom wisdom teeth are just starting to come in. I can feel that they are coming in, but I dont feel pain. There doesn't seem to be any swelling. I am unsure if they are kind of coming in crooked. Am I just suppose to wait and see what happens? Could braces fix crookedness? Are they fine? Do I have to get them removed? I am terrified of being put under. TERRIFIED!

I had all my wisdom teeth removed about 2 years ago. It's advisable to see your dentist if any of your wisdom teeth or tooth is/are giving you any pain. But if you're really worried, just go and see your dentist to see if you need them removed or if you need braces. You need not be put under if it's just a simple case of extracting your wisdom teeth. I had to be put under because of complications but the entire process was very smooth as my dentist had earlier explained to me what he was going to do before i went under. So essentially, i knew beforehand the step by step procedure. Make sure you go through the entire process with your dentist, so you need not be terrified. I know what you are going through because I'm very terrified of dentists. So choose a patient one and good luck!

I myself had some crooked teeth, and also had to have my wisdom teeth removed (which most people do have to have them removed) and then as an adult I had braces for four years to correct and straighten my teeth.





Believe it or not, having well kept teeth makes you more attractive and helps your self confidence.

Go to your dentist and ask for them to take a panorex or panoramic xray -- its a big machine the moves around your head .. then he will exam it and see if they are coming in straight or crooked and he'll help you decide if they really need to come or if you can survive with out.. about the nervousness.. ask for a oral sedationit will just relax you or find a specialist that will do it .. you be consious you just wont remember what went on and it will go by real fast.
