is it normal to have bad breath after your wisdom teeth were taken out. It's been 3 days and I feel like I have bad breath... actually I know I do. It doesn't seem to want to go away. I know it's not dry socket, cuz I still have all the clots, what is it? Any Ideas?

Old blood has a rancid scent. The clots are probably smelling. Don't worry it will go away when the socket closes up. In the mean time just use some tic tacs.

Reply:That's normal. It will go away once the sockets are completely healed.
Reply:It is normal. The old blood is stinky. I had mine done 2 weeks ago and still feel like I'm constantly refreshing my breath. Also, the holes wont fill in right away and you might get food caught in them. If you can't get the food out it will stink too.
