What is the typical age for you to get your wisdom teeth?

I would get it done as soon as you know something is wrong, or that you need them out for other reasons. I am 22 and I had mine out about two months or so ago(im in the braces process had to get them out for it), and they say the longer you wait, the worse it is. You also run the risk ( if you do not get them out in time) of harboring infections back there. And if you get them out younger, the procedure is easier because your bone is not as dense as when you are older, and your recovery time will be quicker, in most cases that is. It wasnt as bad as people make it out to be. I was back to myself in a week!

Reply:It depends on when they come in and if they really do need to come out. I know people who still have them in their 30's. I had mine taken out at 19 because two of them came in twisted. My sister had hers taken out when she was like 16.

Reply:I just had mine pulled last week and I'm 26. However, you may not need to get yours pulled it is dependent upon each individual. If they are giving you problems i would contact your dentist.
