Wisdom teeth?

I am going out of my MIND... My Head hurts- Eyes hurt- Stomach hurts, and Jaw Hurts.





This morning I had blood in my mouth- Hurts to floss- My gums are swollen- Hurts to eat...





Has anyone else felt this bad over Wisdom teeth?? I have an Appt on Tuesday for XRays- But I feel like Im dying now!

Reply:It sounds like one or more are infected (likely gum infection). You probably should call the dentist and ask if you should be seen sooner. If not until Tuesday, use an over-the-counter pain medication (such as ibuprofen) that is safe for you and warm, salt-water rinses.
Reply:Sounds like an infection of some sort. You will most likely need antibiotics before have a wisdom extraction done. If your wisdom teeth are errupted, then opt to have them taken out. I had a cracked wisdom tooth, so I got both of the upper wisdoms taken out ( because they were hard to floss in between). Since you are going to the dentist, dont be afraid to tell him what is going on. The stomach pains and nauseu may be coming from aspirin you are taking. Try taking ibprofuen for pain, not asprin. Asprin can thin the blood and produce more inflammation and bleeding. Also try an ice-pack on the area of the face where the tooth is, this will help with the inflammation also. Also a warm salt-water rinse at night will help ease inflammation ( 1 teaspoon of salt to 8 oz of water). You can also spray chloroseptic ( yeah the throat spray) to numb the pain on the area that is hurting.
