Wisdom Teeth?

I got 3 wisdom teeth pulled yesturday. Looking inside my mouth the bleeding has stopped, and my gums are swollen. I was warned about the swollen and sore part. Im taking the anti-biotics and pain killers when needed, but the time had come where i need to eat sumthing. My sister mad soup for me but im confused because i dont know if i should take the gauze out and eat, and if i should eat the soup warm or hot

Wisdom Teeth?
the bleeding stops fairly quickly after the teeth are pulled out (at least within that day). after that, you don't need the gauz.

you should rinse your mouth gently with warm water and some salt by placing it in your mouth and moving your head slowly from side to side.

you can eat yogurt, broth, soup, etc. just try not to get stuff in the hole itself. and rinse your mouth after you eat. warm is probably best, but not too hot.

if there is significant pain, you could have a more serious problem and you should call your dentist, but otherwise you should be a lot better in a few days.

Good luck with that!
Reply:Take the gauze out to eat. If you are no longer bleeding, there is no longer a need to replace the gauze, unless they are still oozing a bit. Eat the soup at a warm temperature, not not, just warm. Mashed potatoes and gravy, milkshakes (with a spoon of course, no straws), yogurt, jello, pudding, slim fast, etc. are all great soft foods for you to eat after WT removal. I hope this helps. Please note that your pain and swelling will not peak until tomorrow, so hang in there!
