Wisdom teeth?

my right wisdom tooth is comming in (i think) it hurts really bad and i think its broken the gum. but i dont know. can somebody tell me what this pain is?

Wisdom teeth?
Yes, they hurt really bad... just imagine how babies feel when their teeth come in all at once... awww poor lil' babes... anyway, yeah it hurts, but they can also get infected like mine %26amp; had to have them taken out. Keep a bottle of Ibuprofen (Motrin) around...
Reply:wisdom teeth hurt when they come in. Mine were terrible! You need to go to a dentist and have him check you out.
Reply:It's probably just the pain of the tooth breaking through the gum. It hurts. It can cause light fever, swelling in the cheek and jaw ... We all go through it.
Reply:I just had mine out a week ago, the pain is exactly what you already confirmed- bone is breaking through your gum so yeah that's why it hurts. You need to go to the dentist, if there is not enough room for them to come in they will take them out.
Reply:The symptom you are describing is called Periocornitis. It is common when the wisdom tooth is unable to fully erupt into the mouth. The tissue opens up, the tooth trys and come in, you eat and get bacteria down into the gum area and then the tooth becomes infected because you cannot clean this. then it will probably go away for a while. It will continue until the tooth is removed. You could also have a severely decayed tooth into the nerve or an infection associated with bacteria. Go to the dentist ASAP. If it is infection, you can swell and end up in a worse situation.
