Wisdom Teeth?

I have to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled and I was wondering how long the healing(pain)period is?

PAin is different for everyone. It shouldn't last for more than 2 weeks at the very Max. Normally 4 to 5 days. The accual healing time thake about 3 months for the gums to truly heal. Thay should give you pain meds alternate them with advil or motrin every 2 to 3 hours. it will help with the swelling
Reply:Probably 4-5 days. I had all 4 out too and it lasted 4 days. Take LOTS of Tylenol, drink lots of icees, and soft food only. Its a pain to wait that long. Good luck
Reply:I actually never felt any pain and my swelling lasted only for a couple of days. You should be good to go in 1 week.
Reply:It is different for everyone. I was off of pain meds about three days after the surgery. The worst pain is during those three days. However, the swelling in my face lasted for almost two weeks.

Reply:It's really not so bad. I had all mine out at once too and as I recall it was no more than a week EXCEPT one of mine got infected. That made it hurt far longer %26amp; my cheek was all swollen and bruised-looking. Make sure that doesn't happen.
Reply:I had no pain after (Mine where cut out), but give it a week everyone is diff. when it comes to pain. ANd you can ask your doctor for pain pills.
