Wisdom teeth?
Well everyone's time at getting them is different and here is the thing. Some people DON'T have them. I don't know if you're sure you have them or not (usually you would if you had dentist x-rays), or yours could just be taking more time than others. Also you have to watch out for impactions (wisdom tooth facing other teeth or wisdom tooth being abnormally slanted) and some that don't have enough room in their mouth for them. You will know when they are starting to come in, because they are painful. You should definately get an x-ray to find out, if you haven't already, to see if you do have them and if you do, are they impacted or is there enough room for them to fit in your mouth?
Reply:wisdom teeth usually go go bad and are taken out for different reasons like that they are blocked by another tooth from coming out. it is better to take them out now and spare yourself the pain in your late 20s
Reply:they may be stuck in your bone. i went to the dentist today, im a 21 year old female too, my top two wisdom teeth are growing in but my bottom are grown into the bone, this is very normal. u need to get to the dentist and have them do surgery to get them out before it makes your teeth worse(they will grow under the gums and push into your other teeth and damage them.
Reply:i'm 18. all 4 of my wisdom teeth are growing out. some are about halfway out...maybe a little bit less. they don't hurt though...rarely. i actually got a cavity in one of them.
Reply:I'm 22, and only 1 of my top wisdom teeth started poking through the gum. The rest stayed hidden away under the gum tissue. The other top one, the hidden one, was fine, straight. The bottom 2 were completely impacted and pushing against my normal teeth. Just all 4 of them came out 2 and half weeks ago.

Everyone has different experiences with their wisdom teeth. Some get theirs removed while they're in their teens, others don't get theirs out until they are in their 30s or 40s, etc.
