Wisdom teeth?

its been almost a week since my wisdom teeth have been pulled and my mouth is still a little sore, is thisok? also, from the bottom one that was pulled, it is the most tender, and when i feel my cheek there is a bump there and it still hurts when pressed. is it supposed to be like this? b/c it is still kinda hard for me to chew

Wisdom teeth?
that is normal. it'll be a little swollen.

i got mines pulled out too. my cheeks were swollen. it'll heal in time.

stick to soft foood!
Reply:Mine was sore for about a week and then got better. Make sure you try and stretch your jaw!
Reply:If it does not feel better by the end of the week or gets worse...see the oral surgeon...it could become infected.
Reply:I would place a warm compress on the bump to see if that helps reduce it. It's pretty common to be in pain this long. Especially if it was a difficult surgery, lower extractions can be hard to remove from the bone, if the pain continues for more than two weeks or the bump has not abated, I would have the surgeon look to make sure everything is healing as planned. Stretching your jaw and exercising it is a good idea as mentioned previously. Good Luck and feel better soon.
