Wisdom teeth??

my doctor says i still have 4 wisdom teeth in my mouth. Is their any effects of having them?? and if i do get them taken out will it hurt??

Yahoo answers is not the place to get a medical diagnosis. Your dentist or oral surgeon is best qualified to tell you if you need your wisdom teeth removed. Often there isn't room for them and they decay causing problems. Any tooth extraction has an element of pain to it.

Reply:Getting all four out at once is the way to do it, But only if they're bothering you and your dentist says it's time. It's a pretty miserable few days to recuperate. If they aren't bothering you, leave them alone.
Reply:leave them if they don't bother you. if your dentist recommends extraction, then you should. it doesn't hurt to have them out, but after you will probably be pretty uncomfortable. they will give you pain meds though that will help.
