Wisdom teeth?

I had my wisdom teeth removed about four months ago. I had one that was fully impacted and two that were partially impacted. Well my problem is this. My bottom lip is still kinda tingly. The doctor told me that because of my age it might take me longer to heal but doesn%26#039;t this seem like a long time for my lip to still be numb? Anyone with similar experiences?

Wisdom teeth?
i just got my wisdom teeth out about 6 weeks ago. my lip was tingling for about the first day and i could not feel it at all. it was comletely numb..it was still 50 percent numb the next day but than it started to get better. i think you should be fine. you can feel your jaw fine and everything so your lip may just not heal as quick as the rest of your body. you should be happy that you did not have lots of complications because i got mine out 6 weeks ago and i still have holes in the back of my mouth because they didn%26#039;t stich it up.
Reply:i had all 4 wisdom theeth removed at once all was impacted .after 6 hours numbness went away, i can understand taking longer to heal but your lip staying numb for 4 months has nothing to do with your healing of the gums i suggest you see another doctor right away could be the sign of something else going on, or could be when they where removed you suffered nerve damage .
Reply:It%26#039;s could be nerve problem. Don%26#039;t be scare; it’s happening so often with dental procedures. It is will be back, you will be normal. Usually, it may take about 6 month. Don%26#039;t be panic, you can make appt with your doctor, may be you will feel better about it.

I have few points to tell you all this things.

1.I have medical degree.

2. I am going to do my wisdom teeth on following Thursday.

3. I also scare of this procedure because I hate any procedures.

4 I already have nerve problem after some dental procedure few months ago.

So, I really hope you feel yourself better. One more time, IT IS WILL BE BETTER.

Good lack.
