Wisdom Teeth?

I noticed a small amount of bone behind my molars on both sides of my bottom jaw. I think these might be my wisdom teeth but i%26#039;ve read that alot of the time they have to be removed and was wondering if I should get my dentist to look at them now or wait until they%26#039;ve completely come through.

Wisdom Teeth?
hi, its when you wisdom teeth are impacted that they need to be taken out, that means when they dont come through properley or get pushed into your neighbouring teeth. But if they are both coming through the gum ok they should be fine. When you see your dentist next tell him that they are coming through and he will prob take an xray and see if everythings ok with the other 2. hope this helps x
Reply:Wait, you may have room for them and not need them out.
Reply:See a dentist. If you don%26#039;t have room for them in your mouth, they will push your other teeth together! Not good.
Reply:An x-ray by your dentist will tell you what needs to be done. Get them out now if you have too. The straightness of your teeth will depend upon it. Or maybe you would rather have braces?
Reply:i%26#039;ve got mine coming through and they are VERY painful! the dentist told me that they wont take them out anymore unless a person is constantly going to the dentist for pain killers or unless there is a problem. if they don%26#039;t hurt you then you dont really need to see him unless you are concerned.
Reply:It%26#039;d be a good idea to have your dentist take a look to see if they%26#039;re coming in fine, or if they%26#039;re going to end up being impacted and needing to be removed. Sometimes they%26#039;ll start growing and poking through the gum tissue, but they won%26#039;t always make it completely through for different reasons.
