Wisdom teeth?

my wisdom teeth have been pulled last monday and it still pretty much hurts. what can i do to ease it a lil?

Wisdom teeth?
It just takes time. Continue to eat soft foods.
Reply:eat ice cream! or jelly ... then you cant fell anything .. but you cant eat ice cream forever... so continue eating normally and chew with the other side and it will get better... salty water helps (i know it taste bad) if you need the vitamins and minerals.
Reply:Ambelsol gel to ease pain.
Reply:I have heard to put a cooked tea bag in the hole and it will help, not too hot however. He will give you something too the dentist. Go back and let him look and see if you are not developing dry pockets, which is pretty painful. Just go and let him take a look, and if all you need is pain men. then he should have a Rx for you to get filled.
Reply:ummm can you say advil
Reply:you might want to call your dentist to see if you have dry socket. That%26#039;s where it doesn%26#039;t clot or heal over the nerve endings and can be very painful. If you have it your dentist will pack it with some clove leaves or other packings and it should start feeling better very shortly after. Your dentist may have to repack it once or twice till it heals over the nerve endings.
Reply:just take simple pain meds like Advil, Aspirin for the pain...make sure you are still rinsing your mouth after you eat or drink anything....
Reply:Gargle with warm salt water, but ask your dentist for some pain medication. Usually when oral surgury is done, they give you something.
Reply:Yah, you may have what is called dry socket. If the pain continues much longer or gets worse, call the dentist. I don%26#039;t think 1 week of pain is too much....you had teeth pulled, but some kind of gel or cream that will numb the pain, like orajel along with taking a pain reliever like Advil will help. Or you can call and get the doc to prescribe vicodin.....that%26#039;s the best.
Reply:wisdom teeth are those teeth which will appear when you are around 18(when u r considered wise) it is the last tooth on either sides, top and bottom. for some people, it does%26#039;nt appear. For some it causes the other teeth to fall out of place. Many people take it off since it is a pain.(wise people may keep it). It may be wise to pluck it off as soon as posible.
Reply:If the teeth had to be cut out than I would recommend going back to the dentist for a prescription for pain killers.

If they were grown in already %26amp; just pulled you can purchase Aleve over the counter - it is a milder dose of Naproxin which is a prescribed pain killer. Follow the directions do nto take more than is recommended.
