Wisdom teeth??

I got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out Monday morning.

I started off eating just pudding, smoothies, mashed potatoes, etc. By when can I start eating REAL food like Chicken?

Also, is it bad to get a lot of sun exposure like going to the beach? I go to the beach every weekend but now people are telling me sun exposure is bad right now, but others tell me its ok. Should i stay home?

Wisdom teeth??
I would stay with softer foods for a few more days (ie. ground chicken/beef etc), and be sure not to drink through a straw or smoke.. it can cause dry socket, i got it in two of mine even after doing everything correctly, and its a bone pain, very painful %26amp; meds will not take it away.

As far as going to the beach, enjoy! I love it too, i wouldnt worry about that, never hurts to put on some sunscreen tho.
Reply:One week teeth, use sun block minimum of 30 SPF at beach.
Reply:You kind of need to just start eating what feels good on your extraction sites. If you eat something harder and it still feels uncomfortable, stop and eat softer foods again. As far as the sun exposure, neither of the dentists I work with have ever told people that is a problem. You should be just fine with it.
Reply:the sun is not going to do anything but make you feel better. sunshine is good for you! the meds you are taking might be affected by the sun. so just check your medicine bottles and they should say something about exposure to the sun.......this is rare but just be safe and double check. you should be able to start eating soon. just hang in there. Wisdom teeth are a pretty harsh thing to have done. Be patient.
Reply:I had all my wisdom teeth pulled. I didnt eat hard or semi hard food for a couple weeks until I personally felt like my gums were healing well enough to eat things like that. I did stay away from hard things like chips . I dont see how going to the beach hurts the inside of your mouth unless you are getting salt water in your mouth.
