Wisdom Teeth?

how bad is getting your wisdom teeth pulled? I have only heard bad things, but are they true?

Wisdom teeth are not that bad to get out when the dentist says they need to come out. Some people wait a LONG time and that%26#039;s when they get worse. Wisdom teeth have roots on them that look like ice cream sugar cones. They are pointy when they are developing. They should be take out mid teens to late teens. As you get older, the roots spread out. So the easiest time to extract them is when they are in the pointy stage. The best thing is to go to sleep when you have them taken out, all at one time. Dry sockets can be painful but are not REAL common if directions are followed like don%26#039;t drink out of a straw or smoke. Anything that you have to have a sucking like action.
Reply:m ymother made it seem awful but I didnt have any trouble and didnt have to use any pain meds....the worst thign was havign cooton in my motu for hte rest of the day.....adn if that was the worst thing then I was blessed
Reply:if ur sensitive then it will hurt ... but really the most uncomfortable is the gauze in the mouth and the drooling... :D


dont expect to be able to speak and have people understand u, either...its trifling.
Reply:It%26#039;s not really THAT bad. I%26#039;ve heard plenty of bad stories and crap, but surprisingly, I didn%26#039;t freak out when I was about to have mine out. I was sedated via IV and slept through the entire procedure. It%26#039;s afterwards that sucked, but I got over the pain and dry sockets.
