Wisdom Teeth?

I had my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday, There was minimal pain and bleeding then but now I taste fresh blood in my mouth. Would it be a good idea to put more guaze on, or would that agitate the blood clot? Thank you!

Wisdom Teeth?
An old remedy that works well. Take a tea BAG and soak it for a few minutes in cold water. Put it in your mouth where the teeth where extracted and bite down gently. The tannin acid in the tea helps to stop the bleeding. Also, what you may be tasting is just ooze. The sites will ooze a bad tasting stuff for several days after wards. Any swelling, fever, or INCREASE in pain, call your dentist.
Reply:I can%26#039;t remember when I had mine removed it was so long ago and I was also put down, so I wouldn%26#039;t feel it.
Reply:I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted at once and honestly I don%26#039;t remember bleeding the next day. You may be developing a dry socket (where the blood clot dissolves). This causes severe pain and can lead to serious infections in the jaw bone. I developed 2 of them because I am a heavy smoker and couldnt stay away from the smokes =) (smoking causes the blood clots in your gums to dissolve). As far as packing more gauze in the wound, that%26#039;s what my dentist did after irrigating the site with the nastiest stuff I have ever tasted. I WOULD NOT pack the gauze in myself as who knows what you may end up doing wrong.
Reply:Use more guaze. They hurt when I had problems with mine. I feel for you. I know they hurt.
Reply:You should change the guaze or see your dentist if the bleeding doesn%26#039;t stop.
Reply:If bleeding is excessive go back to your dentist otherwise place a clean piece of gauze folded in half over the extration area and bite down for 1hour then slowly remove
Reply:You might have, inadvertantly, done some wrong or exerted the chewing pressure at that area. It would be worth your wisdom while to see the dentist without much delay for advice.
