Wisdom teeth ???
You%26#039;ll be fine. The doctor and his staff are trained in knowing what to do. Pain? Yes, you%26#039;ll have pain, but it depends on what they had to do to pull the teeth. Sometimes it is painful, and hard to tolerate, and other times it%26#039;s not so bad, and just aspirin will take care of it. did your dentist give you a prescription for any pain pills afterwards? Of course, you know to have someone drive you home as you will not have coordination or the ability to drive. You%26#039;ll do fine.
Reply:Don%26#039;t freak yourself out!!! For some people it%26#039;s no big deal...

It depends on how deep your wisdom teeth are.. If they are not too deep, just discomfort for a few days. Take the opportunity to indulge in ice cream, shakes, and good old jello. All best wishes...
Reply:haha. your gonna wake up!!! the pain isnt bad at all. its worse than it sounds. your face is just a little puffy. the only thing that u need to worry about is after u wake if u want applesauce, icecream, or pudding. and i think u should have chocolate icecream
Reply:I%26#039;ve had mine out, and it was LOVELY. The pain really isn%26#039;t terrible, and they give you medication to take to ease it. If you%26#039;re worried about taking hard-core painkillers, let them know, and they will give you something milder, a lot like OTC ibuprofen. When they sedate you, the only uncomfortable thing you may feel is right before you go lights-out, it feels very briefly like you can%26#039;t breathe as easily. That%26#039;s normal. One, two deep breaths, and then suddenly you wake up, all done, unaware that you even fell asleep in the first place!

and I can assure you, the pain is FAR from childbirth. :p It%26#039;s just like a soreness, similar to if/when you%26#039;ve had a tooth pulled or dental work done on a back molar tooth. It goes away within 8 hours, and you can eat all the pudding and ice cream you want!
Reply:I had my top two wisdom teeth pulled. I still need the other two pulled next month. For me it didn%26#039;t hurt that much because they were the top two teeth. First they numb you up then poke you with needles so you don%26#039;t feel anything except a lot of pushing and pulling. I think the bottoms are really going to hurt a bit more for me because their so long and curved. My dentist had to refer me to an oral surgeon. But, wasn%26#039;t asleep though so this may not help you. Most likely you should be numb for awhile afterwards though everybodies different. Good Luck though!
Reply:i think you%26#039;ll be fine. i had my wisdom teeth pulled at different time (2 teeth per visit). when my dentist pulled out my top wisdom teeth, they were the easiest to pull out. when it came to the bottom however, they used a ice cream scooper like tool and the plier looking tool. there was a lot of pressure on both of the bottom teeth.

when they were prepping me for the first visit, my dentist had to shot my gum like 4 or 5 times with numbing solution because the bottom left side of my mouth wasn%26#039;t numbing.

after my wisdom teeth were pulled my dentist prescribed me vicodin to help with the pain. the pain however wasn%26#039;t that bad. when i took the vicodin, i fell asleep within an hour. hah.

i%26#039;m sure you will be fine and that you will wake up. if you are in pain, ask your dentist to prescribe you medication.
