i just had my wisdom teeth removed and im not supposed to eat solid foods for at least three days. im sick of soup. any other suggestions?
Wisdom Teeth?
mashed potatoes, all types of pastas, noodles, spageti, alfredo pastas etc., burritos, mac and cheese. Definately do more than just soups. Besides, soups aren't that nutritional and right now you need nutrition because your body is trying to repair your wounds. all dental offices are different, but where i used to work, we would suggest that you eat hearty soft food (mentioned above), for the first couple of days, but that was only to increase your comfort because it might not feel comfortable chewing on crunchy food. Just don't forget to rinse out the socket with the device given to you (we gave out a syringe with a special tip to remove food debri from the socket). If you have any additional questions, do not hessitate to call your office, i am sure they wouldn't mind answering any of your questions.
Reply:Ice cream, smoothies, humus, soft peanut butter %26amp; honey by the spoonful, %26amp; fruit juice.
Reply:ice cream is good buy not the kind that has milk in there... or nuts or anything chewable
Reply:i know this isnt great advice but eat what you feel comfortable eating. i ate the same day i got mine out...they didnt hurt that bad but they had all been impacted. i just chewed with my back teeth that were closer to the front
Reply:dont eat peanut butter to stick and you dont want a dry socket! Apple sauce, mashed patotos, jello, ice cream, ice cream, ice cream!
Reply:drink liquid ice.. water
Reply:Yogurt, applesauce, mashed potatoes-runny, sorbet, fruit chillers, drinkable yogurt... I am getting them out tomorrow. So I did a little shopping.
