Wisdom Teeth!!!!!?

My wisdom teeth are killing me! all 4! and i cant get an appointment to take them out til august...what can i do to relieve the pain a little?

Eat ice cream. Really. Not anything crunchy, just plain old vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate.





You can take Advil, Aleve, or Tylenol; but don't take more than the recommended dose on the label!





Try Chloraseptic, the 'sore throat spray'. You spray it on the affected area, then spit it out...do NOT swallow it. It helps to numb the area.





Call your dentist and tell them you are in pain, perhaps they can get you in sooner if there's a cancelled appointment or if they are empathetic. Good luck!

Reply:It sounds to me like you have impacted wisdom teeth and you should have then taken out ASAP. Can't you find someone else in your area that can take them out for you? What kind of doctor makes a patient wait a month or more when they are in pain? Look up oral surgeons in the yellow pages and call them until you find one that will help you.





Until that time, rinse your mouth out with warm salt water several times a day and take Advil (ibruprofen) 2 tablets every 4 hours.
