Wisdom teeth?

I haven't had any of my wisdom teeth remove, my doctor says there's nothing wrong with them and then he also say i should get rid of them just in case. I don't get it.

Wisdom teeth?
I wouldnt suggest having them extracted if there is no problem. lots of dentists dont like wisdom teeth because they are softer than normal teeth and also very hard to clean there for you alway need work done to them and because they are so far back in the mouth they are very hard to work on. but in later years when you are old and start needing teeth extracted and possibly dentures that is when it is good to have as many teeth as possible
Reply:Most people remove them on the spot, i'm no expert, but if your doctor says to pull them, you should pull them.
Reply:That seems to be a common answer from dentists. Mine were impacted and had to be removed.
Reply:don't worry if u get ur wisdom teeth pulled out . i got mine pulled out in 9th grade. it wasn't bad. it hurts a bit and the bleeding goes away after 2 days.
Reply:Your wisdom teeth (or third molars) can cause problems for your second molars. They keep the second molars from erupting. There really isn't room in an adult mouth for wisdom teeth to develop. It's possible that wisdom teeth will cause dental crowding and make your other teeth crooked, but this is disputed by dentists.

You really don't need them. It's best to have them removed.
Reply:If i where you the next time that you go see your teeth talk to him about your wisdom teeth. I didn't have my windsom teeth taken out when I was 19 yaers old.
Reply:Trust me-you do not want to go through the pain of having them actually come in. I am in agony right now. My cheek is swollen up like i am smuggling a tennis ball in my mouth, i can't eat, i can't even open my mouth more than half an inch without wincing in pain.....Get them done before they start coming in. Plus-when they start comin in on their own....you are looking at the possiblity of infection since you might have to wait a little bit longer to get them out. And infection is no bueno when it comes to the mouth-your gums lead straight to your heart and there is a high possibility that the infection will go their as well.
