Wisdom teeth?!?

I got them pulled about a week ago. It seems that a part of my tooth is still in my gums.

Its possible. Since they don't really pull your teeth. They break them in to pieces a lot of the time and then pull them out.





If you are worried about it you should go back to the surgeon.
Reply:Your dentist can take an X-ray and find out for sure. Make an appointment and get it checked out.
Reply:Call the dentist and make sure it's ok. You don't want some sort of infection.
Reply:You may spit a few chips for a few weeks. It's normal.
Reply:I had all mine pulled and I remember something like that, but I think you should go back to the doctor and get an exray so you know for sure.

Reply:I think an x-ray would be definitely recommended...however keep in mind that depending upon your age wisdom teeth removal could affect the amount of pain and recovery time. Recovery is easier when you are in your late teens rather than 35 years of age. By any rate, a visit to the orthodontist who conducted the extraction would be a given here.
