Wisdom teeth?

has anybody had them removed?


if so what was it like?





I have to get mine removed and i dont know what to expect!!

I had to remove mine because one was growing sideways and pushing my other teeth painful... they couldnt just pull it out they had to cut a hole in the side of my gum to pull it out that way.. but dont worry there is hardly pain because they numb it before. You will have a big hole there for about a week and you cant eat or get anything in there or you will be in pain u will eat soup or jello or drink ensure. good luck
Reply:I got mine removed around Christmas time last year. When i went into the office i was freaked out, but before i knew it i woke up and my wisdom teeth were out (i don't even remember falling asleep). Then there is some gauze that has to stay in your mouth for a few days, the worst part is having to change those. It barely hurts with the medicine they give you so don't worry about unbearable pain. And i got to eat ice cream and apple sauce for three days straight. And the empty spaces in your gums (where the teeth were) should heal in a few weeks. So all in all it's not that bad.
Reply:They'll knock you out so don't worry. When you wake up it will be over and they'll give you some pills to keep you happy for a few days. It'll be fine. Try to relax.
