Wisdom Teeth?

I am getting my wisom teeth out on march 8th and I am really worried about it. I am getting the stuff that knocks me out but I dont need to go to the hospitol. Also I know I could die from it. Does anyone have any tips to make it better?

Wisdom Teeth?
Try not to worry too much. It's a very common procedure, and people go under anesthesia ALL the time. While you're out, there will be a whole team of people monitoring your vital signs (heart rate, breathing, etc.) so they can see if anything goes wrong at the slightest sign--which it probably won't. Complications from anesthesia are really rare. You won't die from it. Dentists and oral surgeons do this procedure tons of times a day, it's just simple routine for them.

And don't worry about the procedure itself, it's definitely not as bad as people think. You'll feel like you're going to sleep just like you're taking a nap and then you'll wake up in recovery and it'll all be over. They'll give you medicine so you won't be in pain.

Trust me, the worst part of this type of thing is worrying and stressing yourself about it. Once you actually have it done you'll see it wasn't so bad and you'll be wondering what you were ever so scared of.
Reply:ask a lot of questions, let them know of your fears and concerns and prayer, may God bless you to have a successful extraction, I have had anestesia before and I am still here be blessed.
Reply:Katie is right. Wisdom teeth extraction is a common procedure, and you will have an entire team dedicated to watching over you to make sure you are okay.

If you can, try to talk with the dentist/surgeon about your questions and concerns. He/she will be the best person to answer them.

I had all four wisdom teeth taken out at the same time about ten years ago (has it really been that long?), and had the same worries. You will be fine. And a bit puffy afterward. Take the pain killers prescription and fill it!

Rest up before and after the surgery, and talk to the doctor now before everything happens.

Good luck! I'll be thinking of you on the 8th!
Reply:its not that bad trust me.i had a wisdom tooth pulled about 5 months ago and i couldnt have any drugs at all bc i was pregnant at the time.all they could do was numb my gums.didnt hurt AT ALL! didnt feel a thing and mouth wasnt sore at all efterwards.i was really worried to at 1st,but no worries..
Reply:If is done by an oral surgeon they will probably have an anesthesis there %26amp; it is fairly safe!! Every thing has a risk. Stop worrying DMD here
